DCSA Successes in National Competitions

 

DCSA enters students each year in the national Chinese Reading (this year 10th Mandarin Reading Competition - London ) and Chinese Essay Writing ( this year 7th UK National Chinese Essay Writing Competition) competitions of UKAPCE (The UK Association for the Promotion of Chinese Education ) .

 

This year the School continued it's fine record in the Mandarin Reading Competition. 王肖雨 won 2nd prize in Class A Individual and three other students were awarded 优秀 (Excellent) in their respective classes. In addition, the School was awarded the Outstanding School cup in recognition of the School's long term commitment to the competition and the contribution made by the School's teachers to the organisation of the event.

 

In the Essay Writing competition three students received awards with Michael Mumford receiving the joint first prize in the class for Non Chinese Speakers with more than 180 hours study and Gary McGuinness and Lily Cayless received 优秀 (Excellent) awards.
